The incumbent topped the score round on 237 and took the automatic runoff 41–33 against Emilia. Eighty-three valid votes were counted, and the result is provisional after further ballots were struck for fraud.
The appointment carried on 82.14% Aye, comfortably clear of the simple majority needed. The outgoing officer leaves reporting significantly less suspicious activity.
