Two more called to the bar as Justice recruits

Miccael and North Star have passed the full examination, arriving just as the Department of Justice advertises for SAOs.

Two candidates have passed the SimDemocracy Bar Examination in the space of a day.

Miccael was confirmed as having passed the full bar exam, followed shortly afterwards by North Star. Both were announced by Mitchell, who spent the same week concluding a term as Registration Officer.

The examination has run in its current form since May 2026. It comes in three parts — Part A, Part BC and Part BT — and requires above 65% in Part A plus a pass in at least one of Part BC or Part BT. Every question in Part A must be answered. It is open to anyone wanting to work on the legal side of SimDemocracy: SimDemocracy Bar Examination.

The admissions land at a useful moment. The Department of Justice is currently advertising for SAOs at 450t biweekly, with a 50t bonus on a win and a further 200t from the department head personally.
