Treasury clears two cycles of Culture backpay as departments advertise

Department of Culture staff are made whole after two missed pay runs, while Justice, the Office of Growth and the CRB all post vacancies.

The Office of the Treasurer has backpaid the Department of Culture after it emerged that the department had gone two pay cycles without being paid.

Democracy For You, the Treasurer, said the lapse was brought to their attention and has now been settled, and asked anyone still missing pay for DoC work to get in touch directly.

Who is hiring

Several departments are recruiting at once:

  • Department of Justice — hiring SAOs at 450t biweekly, with a 50t bonus for a win and a further 200t which the department head, lorduck, says comes from their own pocket.
  • Central Regulatory Body — seeking a director at 360 tau biweekly, advertised by Secretary Giuvii. At least one candidate had declared interest within the minute.
  • Office of Growth — looking for someone to record voice-overs and work alongside its new team of social-media video editors.

Applications for the COR registrar post, by contrast, have closed, the incumbent having returned.

The Justice vacancies arrive in the same week as two new admissions to the bar, which is either good timing or the reason for the timing.
